Dear Fellow and Future Shareholders,

Our shareholder letter is a great opportunity to communicate ideas and actions that we are pursuing at Bee Brothers Apiary and the logic behind them.  I strive to explain, rather than promote, because doing so gives you a framework from which to evaluate your investment and our overall performance.  We are trying to create a great company that can stand the test of both good and bad times.

This past year was a very difficult year for the world economies and for agriculture in the United States, and 2009 needs to be the year of restoring confidence and trust in our system.  We have witnessed the weeding out process that inevitably accompanies difficult economic times.  As a country, we need to rebuild confidence and trust and to understand what happened.  Whether by business or by government, the misdiagnosis of situations leads to poor prescriptions for rehabilitation and recovery.

What Research Tells us

According to the U.S Department of Agriculture,  The decline of honeybee colonies has slowed slightly, but a mysterious combination of ailments is still decimating the insect's population.   It is the primary objective of our company to grow into the largest, most efficient Honey Bee breeder and supplier in the United States.  We will do this by investment, innovation and acquisition.

It is critically we understand why this is important.  Honey bees are one of the most important pollinators of both agricultural crops and natural ecosystems and with their disappearance the effects are widespread.  Recently, beekeepers have started importing thousands of bee colonies from Australia and other countries every year to replace their dying hives and keep up with the demand for pollination.  This is capital we anticipate redirecting back into the American economy and keeping it here.

We anticipate the highest level of breeding capacity.  More than any other global producer - and resources that enable us to add to that total more quickly and cost-effectively than most competitors - we are uniquely positioned to capitalize on the expected growth in demand.

Our Nations farmers and their commercial transport partners will no longer need to seek increasing their colony numbers with foreign breed bees.  Farmers in the United States pay about $150 million a year to rent hives, and demand is growing.  Currently 30 billion bees are trucked back and forth across our nation to meet the agriculture demands.  As our population grows so will the demand for more food.  Our company also expects to assist the transporters of honey bee colonies to our nations agricultural suppliers.  We will accomplish this by being sure they have a good supply of healthy colonies.

For example, the almond industry is booming, and growers expect they'll need close to 2 million hives to pollinate all the new trees that will start bearing nuts by 2010.  That means 80 percent of the approximately 2.3 million commercial bee colonies that exist now in the United States will have to travel to the California orchards just to meet demand.

By positioning our supply facilities in California, Texas, Florida, the Mid-West and New England we intend to allow easy access to what our farmers need the most.  It is not our intention to put current transport companies out of business, quite the contrary, we expect to encourage, supply and assist in their already beleaguered business.

Any research team requires a balance of different talents.  We believe boosting the  honey bee's genetic diversity could be part of the solution for securing a future that includes a significant supply.  With the anticipated team we expect to put together, we believe we can genetically engineer a disease-resistant honeybee that will survive and reproduce well into the coming centuries.

Poised to grow

Along the way to meeting our targets for 2010, the profitability measures we implemented in 2009 will begin showing positive effects in fiscal 2010, but we still face challenges in our business that will require further attention.  On the growth side, we’re confident that we are strategically well-positioned for the future.  We are in businesses that provide us the opportunity to benefit from recent innovations that will allow us to keep one step ahead of our competitors; and an increasing ability to meet our customers’ needs for advanced and comprehensive solutions.

In 2010 we anticipate becoming a publicly trade company.  There are so many different things that you have to worry about when you are running your own company.  There are so many different options that we can take when trying to make your company the best company it can be.  One thing that might be beneficial to our company is make our company a publicly traded company.

The first financial benefit of becoming a publicly traded company is that it can give investors more confidence when looking into investing in our company.  Plus when you have a public price it gives you a target price that will raise capital.  Also becoming a publicly traded company has the benefit of letting potential investors be able to call their brokers, or go on the internet and get a quote for your company's stock price.  You are also allowed to give investors a discount from the public trading price if they buy the stock directly from your company.  There is usually the stipulation that they have to hold the stock for one year. This is a great financial benefit because it will guarantee that people will be invested in your company at least a year which will help build up your company.

Another financial benefit of becoming a publicly traded company is that the value of your company in the market is substantially higher than it would be if it was private.  Statistics have shown that 4 of 6 companies will have 25 times the higher net earnings if they are public rather than private.

The third financial benefit of becoming a publicly traded company is that our employees might be more loyal due to the fact that they can be part owners of the company because of the fact that they shares of stock.  This is a way that we can also connect with our employees by helping with the success of their future.  If our employees are more loyal it will help increase productivity which in return will help our business

I am pleased to report that your company continues its proud past and looks forward to a successful future.
