Bee Cool Dude
Like all living organisms, honey bee colonies can be infested with diseases and pests.  It is important for the beekeeper to be able to recognize conditions which might be disease or pest related and respond accordingly.  The purpose of the following information is to describe possible diseases and pests of honey bees.

Colonies can be slightly damaged by pesticides, for example, and/or nutritional deficiencies.  It is important, therefore, for the beekeeper to be as informed and obtain as much assistance as possible in diagnosing bee disease or pest problems.
